The Other Pots

Here are a sampling of many of the other pots Josh DeWeese made during the workshop. They are all really creative and he makes it all look so damn simple. It was really an inspiring workshop.

Josh making a large platter. Here putting handles on it.

Once the platter dried enough to trim, he carves parts of the bottom where the feet go.

Detail of the platter bottom. Notice the carved areas where the feet are.

Josh trimming the body of a teapot.

He is using a Grabber Pad and a metal jar lid.

Pulling the handle of the teapot.

Throwing the teapot lid off the hump.

A variety of tea bowls and parts of the ewer set.

This tray was thrown, detailed and then stretched. Also here are parts of the ewers.

Finished ewer set on the tray.
